Writing Guidelines

  • The abstract must include the topic of the research, its objectives, problem statement, methodology, and expected main results, and must be between 200–300 words.

  • A participant may submit a maximum of two papers.

  • The footnote method must follow the İSNAD Citation System. It can be accessed via the link below:

  • For papers written in English, the citation guide is available at:

  • For papers written in Arabic, the citation system is available at:

  • The researcher is obliged to make any revisions requested by the Scientific Committee.

  • Acceptance of the paper will be notified to the researcher via email.

  • The paper will be reviewed in terms of scientific and intellectual reliability and must not contain any insults toward individuals or institutions.

  • The paper must address contemporary issues theoretically and practically within the framework of the symposium themes.

  • The researcher must observe objectivity and avoid personal bias.

  • Sources and evidence must be documented meticulously.

  • Full compliance with grammar rules and the conventions of the selected research language is required.

  • Punctuation marks must be used correctly.

  • The paper must not have been previously published or presented at another scientific event.

  • The researcher must declare that the paper submitted to the symposium was not written using artificial intelligence. If artificial intelligence applications were used in data analysis or similar processes, this must be clearly stated in the paper. Otherwise, the Scientific Committee may directly reject the submission.

  • The student and supervisor agree to comply with the intellectual property conditions stated below and to grant the Symposium Scientific Committee the rights to edit and publish the paper:
    (I hereby declare that the paper I have submitted has not been published anywhere before, has not been accepted for publication, and has not been submitted to another journal for evaluation. If my paper is accepted for publication, I agree that all rights stipulated under Law No. 5846 on Intellectual and Artistic Works (FSEK), including the right of adaptation under Article 21, the right of reproduction under Article 22, the right of distribution under Article 23, the right of performance under Article 24, and the right of communication to the public by means of signals, sounds and/or images under Article 25, as well as all other rights stated in this agreement, including retransmission, public communication, performance, and enabling third parties to access the work at any place and time, shall be transferred exclusively to the Organizing Committee of the Karabük University Faculty of Theology 2nd International Postgraduate Symposium, without any limitation of place, number, or content, and for the full duration of legal protection.)

  • After completing the participant information, the abstract must be uploaded in the relevant field.
